# U.S. Census Bureau: Will release the trade and construction report for August next week

The U.S. Census Bureau announced on Friday that it will release data on construction spending, factory orders, and international trade for August next week.

The construction spending report will be released on Monday, followed by factory orders data the next day. The trade report will be published on Wednesday. All reports were initially scheduled for release in early October.

The U.S. government's 43-day shutdown is the longest in history, causing a halt in the collection, processing, and release of economic data, including the highly anticipated monthly employment and inflation reports.

In a statement, the U.S. Census Bureau said it will coordinate with other agencies and the Office of Management and Budget to continue updating its economic indicators release schedule to address the impacts of the recent federal funding interruption. The agency stated that it will provide the latest release dates as soon as they are available
