# Bitcoin ETF faces "the second largest capital outflow in history"

On Thursday, the outflow of funds from the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF reached $869.9 million, marking the second-largest outflow on record. The largest single-day net outflow occurred on February 25, 2025, when these funds saw an outflow of as much as $1.14 billion in a single day.

The significant outflow of funds from the ETF indicates that institutional investors are withdrawing.
