# CITIC International is optimistic about Baidu's cloud business and has set a target price of $148.4

CMB International's research report pointed out that last Thursday, it was invited to attend the Baidu (09888.HK) "2025 Baidu World Conference," believing that Baidu's core advertising business and available cash are key factors supporting the company's valuation. Furthermore, clearer visibility in future cloud business operational metrics, more progress in autonomous driving taxis and AI-related new businesses, and further optimization of cash usage to enhance shareholder returns are expected to drive a revaluation of the company.

CMB International, based on the SOTP valuation model, set a target price of USD 148.4 for Baidu's US stock (BIDU.US) and maintained a "Buy" rating
