# Nio launches higher-priced ES6 Milestone Edition as SUV nears 300,000 deliveries

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has rolled out a new variant of its ES6 electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) featuring exclusive configurations at a higher price point.

The EV maker announced today the official launch of the ES6 Milestone Edition, commemorating the SUV's upcoming milestone of 300,000 deliveries this month.

Nio announced the 300,000th ES6 rolled off the production line on November 1. It has not yet announced the delivery of the milestone vehicle.

The ES6 Milestone Edition starts at RMB 349,800, including a 100-kWh battery pack. This represents an increase of RMB 11,800, or 3.49 percent, over the standard ES6's starting price of RMB 338,000.

Under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) purchase plan, the ES6 Milestone Edition starts at RMB 241,800 with a monthly battery rental fee of RMB 1,128.

The standard ES6 under the BaaS plan starts at RMB 230,000 with the same monthly battery rental fee of RMB 1,128.

The ES6 Milestone Edition features 20-inch wheels, Nomi Mate 3.0, a premium front passenger seat, and a Moon-themed exterior package.

Customers who order the ES6 Milestone Edition on or before November 30 will receive benefits including 48 free battery swap vouchers and 5 years of free NOP+ (Navigate on Pilot Plus) driver assistance.

ES6 Milestone Edition display models have arrived at Nio showrooms, with deliveries set to commence on November 18.

Nio's website indicates a 2-3 week delivery wait for both the standard ES6 and ES6 Milestone Edition.

Nio hits 300,000th ES6 SUV production milestone

The 300,000th ES6 delivery is expected to be achieved later this month.
