# The Shanghai Composite Index adjusted with increased volume, falling by 2.45%, with approximately 5,100 stocks in the entire market declining

The market opened lower throughout the day and the three major indices collectively declined. AI application sectors strengthened against the trend, with VCG and Join-cheer hitting the daily limit. The military industry sector was partially active, with Longxi Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit and Jiuzhiyang rising over 10%. On the downside, lithium mining stocks plummeted collectively, with Tianqi Lithium and Ganfeng Lithium among more than ten stocks hitting the daily limit; the storage chip sector underwent significant adjustments, with Demingli and Dagang Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit. Individual stocks showed a general downward trend, with about 5,100 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the red, and today's trading volume reached 1.98 trillion. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 2.45%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 3.41%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 4.02%
