# It is reported that JD.com is bidding for a 50% stake in Zhonghuan Construction Bank Tower, with the highest offer

According to market sources cited by Hong Kong 01, it was previously reported that LAI SUN DEV (00488.HK) plans to sell 50% of the Central Construction Bank Tower, and recently JD-SW (09618.HK) has also participated in the bidding, with the highest offer among competitors.

In response to inquiries, JD stated that it would not comment.

The Construction Bank Tower has traditionally been jointly owned by LAI SUN DEV and the Construction Bank, each holding a 50% stake. LAI SUN DEV previously responded to market news by stating that as a real estate company, it would consider any good offers. Additionally, the group is orderly executing its established asset disposal strategy and will actively consider suitable transaction opportunities
