# On the eve of the Federal Reserve's decision, the U.S. Treasury yield curve is "steep," with long-term bond yields rising sharply

This week, U.S. Treasury yields rose (the 10-year Treasury yield recorded its largest increase since the pause on Liberation Day in April), and the U.S. Treasury yield curve (from 3 months to 30 years) steepened sharply (steepening for six consecutive days) — this is the largest single-week steepening since Liberation Day.
