# Central Political Bureau Meeting of the Communist Party of China: Adhere to demand-led growth and build a strong domestic market

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting on December 8 to analyze and study the economic work for 2026. The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to adhere to domestic demand as the main driver and build a strong domestic market; adhere to innovation-driven development and accelerate the cultivation and growth of new momentum; adhere to reform breakthroughs to enhance the dynamism of high-quality development; adhere to opening up to promote win-win cooperation in multiple fields; adhere to coordinated development to promote urban-rural integration and regional linkage; adhere to "dual carbon" leadership to promote comprehensive green transformation; adhere to prioritizing people's livelihoods and strive to do more practical things for the people; and adhere to maintaining bottom lines to actively and steadily resolve risks in key areas.
