# "European Stocks" The pan-European STOXX 600 index remains stable as Google's parent company, which produces smart glasses Ray-Ban, falls by 50%

Investors are focused on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decisions, and European stock markets were steady on Tuesday, with the pan-European STOXX 600 index flat.

Google announced that it will release its first AI glasses next year. Shares of EssilorLuxottica, the manufacturer of Ray-Ban, which collaborated with Meta to launch smart glasses, fell 5% on Tuesday, revealing that Meta holds at least 3% of the company's shares.

The Bank of England and the European Central Bank will announce their latest interest rate decisions next week. The UK FTSE 100 index rose 7 points to 9,652 points. The German DAX index increased by 57 points or 0.2%, reaching 24,103 points. The French CAC 40 index fell by 42 points or 0.5%, to 8,066 points
