The Asia-Pacific stock markets generally fell this morning (16th), with the Singapore stock market also declining after reaching a historical high. The People's Bank of China conducted a seven-day reverse repurchase operation, with a net injection of 18 billion yuan in a single day. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,820 points, down 47 points or 1.2%; the Shenzhen Component Index reported 12,866 points, down 246 points or 1.9%.
