# The U.S. ITC officially launched a 337 investigation into semiconductor devices and their downstream computing products and components, with AMD, Lenovo, and others named as defendants

On December 16, the United States International Trade Commission voted to initiate a Section 337 investigation into certain semiconductor devices and their downstream computing products and components. The named defendants include Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Santa Clara, California, Lenovo Information Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Guangdong, China, Lenovo Inc., Morrisville, North Carolina, Lenovo Group Limited, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong SAR, and Super Micro Computer, Inc., San Jose, California
