# The Tourism Board: The New Year's Eve countdown will be moved to the pedestrian zone on Chater Road in Central

The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced that the New Year's Eve countdown event on December 31 this year will be moved to the pedestrian area on Chater Road in Central, replacing the Victoria Harbour fireworks display. The event arrangements and details will be announced later.
