# Hulk smash as Malaysian officer rips car door off its hinges

A Malaysian police officer’s superhero moment has gone viral after dashcam footage showed him wrenching open a suspect’s car door with his bare hands during a chase.\\nThe two-minute clip, widely shared on social media, shows a car being driven against the flow of traffic on a busy road in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah on Malaysian Borneo, before it is intercepted by police.\\nIn the video, the suspect’s vehicle screeches to a halt as an officer repeatedly orders the driver to step out. The victim had estimated her total losses at about 1,500 ringgit (US$370).\\nInvestigators discovered the suspects were using a rental car equipped with a GPS tracking system. Following the signal, officers found the car the same day, triggering the chase seen in the viral footage.\\n“The suspects’ vehicle skidded off the road, and both men were successfully detained,” Kasim said.\\nThe stolen items have been recovered and the men are being held on suspicion of theft.\\n
