# OCBC Bank Hong Kong promotes the "Bank x Retail" concept

OCBC Bank Hong Kong stated that its subsidiary, Hongfu Wealth Management, performed well in 2025 and announced the launch of a strategic "Bank × Retail" concept as a core business focus for 2026.

As of September 2025, the total number of clients at Hongfu Wealth Management grew by over 30% year-on-year, with offshore clients increasing by more than 50%; revenue from wealth management services also rose significantly by over 70% compared to the same period last year.

OCBC Bank Hong Kong will officially launch the "Bank × Retail" concept in 2026, breaking traditional norms with a forward-looking branch model that incorporates unique retail elements into the branches. The bank announced a memorandum of cooperation with the well-known Singapore pastry brand "Lao Cheng Chang" to introduce the first "Lao Cheng Chang" store in key local branches
