On Monday local time, NVIDIA announced that its next-generation system—the Vera Rubin platform, successor to Grace Blackwell—has entered full-scale production, with Super Micro Computer participating as one of its partners in infrastructure and storage. With NVIDIA officially launching the Rubin GPU integrated with HBM4 memory and Vera CPU, the power consumption and thermal density of AI clusters have reached an all-time high. Super Micro Computer quickly followed up by launching customized liquid cooling systems for the Vera Rubin NVL72 and HGX Rubin NVL8 architectures. It is reported that Super Micro Computer's new liquid cooling solution can provide precise cooling for ultra-large-scale clusters integrating 72 Rubin GPUs in a single cabinet. To ensure the smooth delivery of the Vera Rubin platform in the second half of 2026, Super Micro Computer has confirmed the expansion of its manufacturing facilities in the United States.
