# The Hangzhou land market has a strong start, with commercial land by Xianghu Lake sold at a 196% premium

On January 15th, a commercial land plot in Xianghu, Xiaoshan District, which requires full self-holding, fired the first shot of the 2026 land market heat. 115 rounds, a premium of 195.96%, and a land price of 15,094 yuan/sqm... The bidding lasted for more than an hour, setting a new high for land premiums in Hangzhou in nearly three years. The plot was ultimately won by Zhejiang Xianglv Green Development Co., Ltd., with a transaction price of 34,435 million yuan and a floor price of 15,094 yuan/sqm. (Qianjiang Evening News)
