# The US Dollar Index has risen by more than 0.2% this week

On Friday (January 16), at the close in New York, the ICE Dollar Index rose by 0.04%, reporting 99.363 points. U.S. President Trump hinted at his unwillingness to allow White House advisor Hassett to be appointed as the Federal Reserve Chairman, causing a rebound from the daily low of 99.163 points to a daily high of 99.483 points, with a cumulative increase of 0.24% for the week, showing a continuous upward trend overall. The Bloomberg Dollar Index rose by 0.01%, reporting 1211.75 points, remaining roughly flat for the week
