# FTSE MIB Falls to Over 2-Week Low

The FTSE MIB fell more than 1% to below 45,300 in early trading on Monday, marking its lowest level in over two weeks, amid renewed trade concerns following US President Donald Trump's latest tariff threats over Greenland.

On Saturday, Trump announced plans to impose a 10% tariff on imports from eight European nations starting February 1, potentially increasing to 25% in June if the US is not permitted to purchase Greenland.

Most stocks in the index traded in the red, with significant declines seen in Enel (-3%), STMicroelectronics (-3.3%), Banca Generali (-3.5%), and Interpump Group (-3%), reflecting the broader risk-off sentiment.
