# Move Over, Citadel. Chris Hohn's TCI Rakes in Record $18.9 Billion in Profits

Ken Griffin's Citadel once held the record for the highest annual profit by a hedge fund, pulling in $16 billion in 2022. However, a new billionaire now holds that record.

Chris Hohn's The Children's Investment (TCI) Fund raked in $18.9 billion in net profits in 2025, according to Swiss investment firm Edmond de Rothschild. Since its inception in 2003, TCI has delivered $68.4 billion in returns post fees.
