# Google Cloud officially announced a price increase, with prices doubling in North America

Google officially announced that it will adjust the pricing for data transmission methods such as CDN Interconnect, Direct Peering, and Carrier Peering on May 1, 2026, with prices doubling in North America. North America: $0.08/GB (previously $0.04/GB) Europe: $0.08/GB (previously $0.05/GB) Asia: $0.085/GB (previously $0.06/GB)
