Developers are actively clearing inventory, leading to a sustained boom in primary market transactions, with over 2,200 transactions recorded by January 28. It is expected that the potential number of new supply units in the fourth quarter of 2025 will be approximately 104,000. Both construction volume and completion volume have decreased, with construction volume hitting a new low in 16 years" datetime: "2026-01-30T09:26:26.000Z" locales: - [zh-CN](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/274283294.md) - [en](https://longbridge.com/en/news/274283294.md) - [zh-HK](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/274283294.md) --- > 支持的语言: [English](https://longbridge.com/en/news/274283294.md) | [繁體中文](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/274283294.md) # Hong Kong Land: The number of unsold units under construction has declined for five consecutive quarters, and the number of completed unsold units has decreased for three consecutive quarters Wang Pindi, Director of the Research Department at Hong Kong Property, stated that according to the latest "Private Residential First-hand Market Supply Statistics" released by the Housing Authority today, the number of unsold units under construction was approximately 61,000 in the fourth quarter of last year, a decrease of about 1,000 units from approximately 62,000 in the third quarter, marking a decline for five consecutive quarters and reaching a 17-quarter low; the number of completed but unsold units was approximately 23,000 in the fourth quarter of last year, a decrease of about 3,000 units from approximately 26,000 in the third quarter, marking a decline for three consecutive quarters and reaching a 5-quarter low. The continuous decline in both the number of units under construction and completed but unsold units is mainly due to developers actively reducing inventory in recent years; according to data from the "First-hand Residential Property Sales Information Network" and market news, first-hand transactions have recorded over 1,000 deals for 12 consecutive months, setting the longest record since the implementation of the first-hand sales regulations in 2013, indicating that first-hand transactions have remained robust over the past year. In the first 28 days of January this year, transactions have already surpassed 2,200, an increase of over 60% month-on-month, suggesting that first-hand transaction volume will continue to be strong this year. Wang Pindi pointed out that the number of units with approved land that can be developed immediately ("ready land") recorded approximately 20,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2025, an increase of about 6,000 units from approximately 14,000 units in the third quarter, driving the potential new supply of units in the next three to four years (including the number of units with approved land that can be developed immediately, the number of unsold units under construction, and the number of completed but unsold units) to approximately 104,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2025, an increase of about 2,000 units from approximately 102,000 units in the third quarter. Last year, both construction and completion volumes fell, with construction volume dropping below 10,000 units to approximately 8,800 units, a year-on-year decline of over half, reaching a 16-year low; the completion volume recorded approximately 18,400 units, a year-on-year decline of over 20%, which is also more than 10% lower than the government's annual completion volume forecast of approximately 20,860 units ## 相关资讯与研究 - [12:30 ETLOUISIANA FISH FRY LAUNCHES NEW VIDEO SERIES WITH EMERIL LAGASSE AND TROMBONE SHORTY CELEBRATING CAJUN FLAVOR](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281652235.md) - [Trump weighs broader cabinet shake-up as Iran war pressure grows](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281681817.md) - [12:26 ETOdevo deepens Texas presence as WRMC joins](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281652151.md) - [11:00 ETUncertainty and caution apparent in new tech employment data, CompTIA analysis finds](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281648041.md) - [Omeros Turns Corner With Novo Deal, YARTEMLEA Launch](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281666535.md)
