# Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (QQQ) Daily Update, 2/2/2026

The Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (QQQ), which tracks the performance of the Nasdaq 100 Index (**NDX**), was down 0.61% in Monday's pre-market trading amid a sharp decline in silver and Bitcoin (**BTC-USD**) prices, with major technology earnings reports in focus.

On Friday, the QQQ ETF plunged 1.2% as Bitcoin dropped below $80,000 for the first time since April, silver tumbled about 30%, its steepest one-day fall since 1980, and gold declined roughly 9%. Stocks also slipped after President Donald Trump nominated Kevin Warsh as the next Federal Reserve chairman. If confirmed, Warsh would replace Jerome Powell later this year.

Overall, the QQQ ETF has retreated 0.32% over the past five days but is up 20% in the past year.
