After nearly two years, Google (GOOGL.US) has finally released the visionOS version of the YouTube app. YouTube now has a visionOS app available for download in the App Store. This app allows Vision Pro users to watch any video on YouTube, supporting not only standard rectangular videos and Shorts but also 3D, 360-degree, and VR180 format videos. On the Vision Pro M5, videos can be played in 8K resolution. The app requires visionOS version 26.0 or higher. With a starting price of $3,499, the Vision Pro is considered too expensive by many. Critics also point out that the headset is bulky, uncomfortable to wear, has relatively short battery life, and a limited number of applications.
