This drop is attributed to weak demand from China, lower export estimates, and pressure from Indonesia's biodiesel mandate pause. However, demand from India remains strong, with January imports rising 51% month-on-month. Malaysia also increased its March crude palm oil reference price while keeping the export duty at 9%." datetime: "2026-02-13T05:37:11.000Z" locales: - [zh-CN](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/275854349.md) - [en](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275854349.md) - [zh-HK](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/275854349.md) --- > 支持的语言: [English](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275854349.md) | [繁體中文](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/275854349.md) # Palm Oil Set for Second Straight Weekly Losses Malaysian palm oil futures dropped below MYR 4,010 per tonne on Friday, extending losses for a fourth straight session and reaching a four-week low, dragged down by weakness in edible oil benchmarks on Dalian and Chicago markets. Lower export estimates also weighed on sentiment, with cargo surveyors reporting Malaysian shipments for February 1–10 fell between 10.5%–14.3% mom. The contract is set for a second weekly decline, off about 3.5% so far, as concerns over weak demand from key buyer China persisted after soft January CPI data, which came ahead of the Spring Festival. Prices also faced pressure from Indonesia’s pause on a higher biodiesel mandate, alongside expectations of stronger output in coming months. Still, the downside was cushioned by robust demand from top buyer India, with January imports surging 51% mom to a four-month high following a sharp drop in December. Meanwhile, Malaysia raised its March crude palm oil reference price, keeping the export duty unchanged at 9%. ## 相关资讯与研究 - [Malaysia's March 1-15 palm oil exports seen at 921,606 metric tons - AmSpec Agri](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/279211290.md) - [VEGOILS-Palm falls on weaker Chicago soyoil, uncertainty over Indonesia's policies](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/279373665.md) - [Malaysia benchmark crude palm oil futures rise 3.96% to 4,397 ringgit per metric ton](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/278478958.md) - [Malaysia's PNB rejects Sunway offer for IJM shares, Bernama reports](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/279256520.md) - [CORRECTED-TABLE-Malaysia's March 1 - 10 palm oil exports rise 45.3% -AmSpec Agri](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/278501842.md)
