# BUZZ-Mohawk rises after Q4 earnings beat estimates

Shares of home flooring manufacturer Mohawk Industries (MHK.N) up nearly 2% at about $136 in early trading

Co posts fourth-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates, as demand for commercial construction offsets weakness in its residential segment

Reports Q4 adjusted profit of $2/share, above analysts’ estimate of $1.98/share- data compiled by LSEG

It expects first-quarter profit per share of $1.75 to $1.85, below estimates of $1.93

Posts net sales of $2.7 billion for Q4, compared with analysts’ average expectations of $2.68 billion

Including session’s move, shares up 25.8% YTD
