# Huawei Cloud CodeArts Code Intelligence Access KNOWLEDGE ATLAS GLM-5

On February 14th, recently, KNOWLEDGE ATLAS AI released the open-source model GLM-5, which has achieved open-source SOTA levels in programming and agent capabilities, excelling in complex systems engineering and long-range agents. It can autonomously complete system engineering tasks such as agentic long-range planning and execution, backend reconstruction, and deep debugging with minimal human intervention. Huawei announced today that **Huawei Cloud CodeArts code intelligent agent has fully integrated the GLM-5 model**.

IT Home noted that in January this year, Huawei Cloud officially released the "CodeArts" code intelligent agent. This intelligent coding product, deeply integrated with AI native capabilities, incorporates core functions such as IDE, autonomous development mode, and code library indexing. This product had previously integrated the **GLM-4.7 and DeepSeek-V3.2** models, supporting the JetBrains series and Visual Studio Code IDEs.

According to official information, "CodeArts" is an intelligent coding product developed by Huawei Cloud, supporting core functions such as project-level code generation, code continuation, R&D knowledge Q&A, and unit test case generation, which can efficiently enhance developers' R&D efficiency and provide a high-quality intelligent coding experience.

"CodeArts" integrates three key capabilities required for programming: programming environment, autonomous development mode, and code library retrieval. **Users input requirements, and AI can directly write code**.

Huawei Cloud previously stated that the copyright of the code output by the code intelligent agent belongs to the user. "CodeArts" is essentially a tool that generates code based on user input and pre-trained models. The tool itself does not possess creative autonomy or intent; its output is a response and implementation of user instructions. Similar to traditional programming tools or IDEs, they assist developers in writing code, but the copyright of the code still belongs to the developers.
