# BGI Intelligent Manufacturing plans to sell 100% equity of its subsidiary for USD 50 million and adjust the licensing of CoolMPS sequencing technology

BGI Genomics announced on the evening of February 23 that its wholly-owned subsidiary MGIR&D HK plans to sell 100% equity of its wholly-owned subsidiary CGI, after stripping related assets and liabilities, for approximately $50 million to Swiss Rockets. In addition, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary MGI US LLC, CGI, and Swiss Rockets have signed an amendment to the Licensing Agreement. Based on the CoolMPS Licensing Agreement, it intends to add the paid licensing of the company's StandardMPS sequencing technology to Swiss Rockets, obtaining exclusive rights for StandardMPS sequencing technology and a general license for universal sequencing technology in the United States and Canada
