# Analysis: Despite NVIDIA's strong performance, volatility in AI trading still exists

Charu Chanana, Chief Investment Strategist at Saxo Bank, stated in a report that volatility in AI-related trades is expected to persist even after NVIDIA reported strong earnings. The strategist noted that the AI theme has matured, and investors are now looking for proof of monetization and spending discipline. She added, "The market is increasingly focused on the quality of demand, business mix (training vs. inference), pricing power, and how quickly 'easy money' disappears as competition intensifies." The strategist pointed out that investors should be cautious with AI adopters, as their monetization timelines are uncertain and competition is fierce. She stated, "This makes AI adopters the most unstable part of AI trading." She noted that AI enablers in the supply chain, from power and cooling to networking, may be more resilient
