The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) shed 1.1%. In corporate news, uniQure (QURE) shares tumbled 33% after the US Food and Drug Administration said data from the company's Phase 1/2 trials was not sufficient to provide the primary evidence of effectiveness needed to support a marketing application for AMT-130, an investigational gene therapy for Huntington's disease. Zoetis ( ZTS ) agreed to buy Neogen's (NEOG) animal genomics business for $160 million. Neogen shares fell 0.7%, and Zoetis ( ZTS ) dropped 2%. Gyre Therapeutics ( GYRE ) shares climbed 7.4% after the company agreed to acquire clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Cullgen for $300 million in stock.
