# Biom introduces plant-based wipes that kill 99.9% of germs, reshaping disinfecting aisle. Quat-free formula at mass retail.

A new product called Biom Disinfecting Wipes is set to revolutionize the disinfecting wipes market. Traditionally, the market has been dominated by two companies using quaternary ammonium compounds ("quats") as the primary active ingredient, along with plastic wipes and strong chemical fumes post-application. Biom's wipes, however, are quat-free and made using a unique formula. This marks a significant shift in the industry, offering consumers a safer and more effective alternative.
