# Jiangxi Copper Corporation officially announces the effectiveness of the tender offer to acquire all shares of SolGold

JIANGXI COPPER (0358.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary's formal offer to acquire all shares of London-listed copper-gold mining company SolGold plc has become effective.

The target company is located in the northern part of Ecuador, with its core asset being the Cascabel project, specifically the Alpala deposit. A preliminary feasibility study has been completed, with proven, controlled, and inferred resource amounts of: 12.2 million tons of copper, 30.5 million ounces of gold, and 102.3 million ounces of silver. Among these, the confirmed and inferred reserves are: 3.2 million tons of copper, 9.4 million ounces of gold, and 28 million ounces of silver.

Upon completion of the transaction, it is expected to significantly enhance the company's resource reserve scale and resource security capability, support the company's overseas strategy, and bolster the global layout of its resources, creating broader space for the company to achieve high-quality sustainable development and enhance its long-term core competitiveness.

The mining projects under the target company have not yet commenced production, and the exploration, design, construction, and operation of the projects will still require significant time, capital, and professional skilled personnel
