# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index rose by 396 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index rose by 69 points. Tencent rose over 5%, Alibaba rose over 3%, LINGBAO GOLD (One Hundred), and Huishang Bank reached new highs

The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,804 points, up 396 points or 1.6%. The Hang Seng Tech Index reported 5,010 points, up 69 points or 1.4%. The National Index rose 91 points or 1.1%, closing at 8,673 points.

Performance of active heavyweight stocks:

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 545.5, up 5.7%;

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 132.6, up 3%;

Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) closed at HKD 33.34, down 1%;

Meituan (03690.HK) closed at HKD 78.25, down 0.6%;
