# The mainland will raise the price of refined oil starting at midnight, with gasoline increasing by 695 yuan per ton

The National Development and Reform Commission of China announced that due to recent fluctuations and increases in international oil prices, starting from 24:00 on March 9, domestic retail prices for gasoline and diesel will be raised by 695 yuan per ton and 670 yuan per ton respectively, marking the largest single increase since 24:00 on March 17, 2022, and also the fourth consecutive increase this year.

China National Petroleum Corporation (0857.HK), Sinopec (0386.HK), and CNOOC (0883.HK), along with other crude oil processing enterprises, are required to organize the production and transportation of refined oil to ensure stable market supply and strictly implement national pricing policies. Relevant departments in various regions must strengthen market supervision and inspection efforts, severely investigate behaviors that do not comply with national pricing policies, and maintain normal market order
