# Malaysia financial markets remain resilient amid Middle East conflict, central bank says

KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 (Reuters) - Malaysian financial markets remain relatively resilient amid geopolitical tensions from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the central bank said on Thursday.

Bank Negara Malaysia said in a statement that the onshore foreign exchange market continues to record a robust average daily trading volume of $21.4 billion year to date and demand for government bonds remains healthy.
