Prime Day is marked by heavy discounts on categories ranging from apparel and electronics, and its summer iteration coincides with the back-to-school shopping season with parents and students waiting to cash in on the deals. The timing shift would also move Prime Day sales to Amazon’s second quarter, which typically ends on June 30. The company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. Amazon’s Prime Day event has taken place in July since its launch in 2015, barring a change for two years during the pandemic. Last year, the event was extended to four days from the usual two, and drove $24.1 billion in online spending across U.S. retailers, up 30% from a year ago, according to data from Adobe Analytics. However, Amazon has also had to contend with competing deals events from retailers such as Walmart (WMT.O) and Target (TGT.N) as these companies invest in their digital order fulfillment and same-day delivery capabilities. Contribution to U.S. sales from e-commerce almost doubled for Walmart in its most recently reported quarter, and the company said customers using its option for delivery under three hours grew more than 60% for fiscal year 2026. ### 相关股票 - [VanEck Retail ETF (RTH.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/RTH.US.md) - [ProShares Online Retail (ONLN.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/ONLN.US.md) - [Global X E-commerce ETF (EBIZ.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/EBIZ.US.md) - [Direxion Daily AMZN Bull 2X Shares (AMZU.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/AMZU.US.md) - [SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/XRT.US.md) - [Amazon (AMZN.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/AMZN.US.md) - [Amplify Online Retail ETF (IBUY.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/IBUY.US.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Long AMZN Daily ETF (AMZZ.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/AMZZ.US.md) - [Roundhill AMZN WeeklyPay ETF (AMZW.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/quote/AMZW.US.md) ## 相关资讯与研究 - [Should You Chase the Amazon-Driven Rally in Globalstar Stock Today?](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281573463.md) - [Amazon's satellite business gets another win as it seeks to challenge Musk's Starlink](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281201680.md) - [Amazon Helps Drive Record Q1 for Corporate Bond Sales in EMEA](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281347518.md) - [Amazon Faces Union Pressure After Labor Ruling](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281640043.md) - [Amazon (AMZN) Tests New Chatbot Ads, but Early Results Are Weak](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281436422.md)
