The People's Bank of China today (13th) conducted a seven-day reverse repurchase operation of 37.5 billion RMB in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 44.8 billion RMB of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net withdrawal of 7.3 billion RMB for the day. The three major A-share indices are slightly weak. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 4,120 points, down 8 points or 0.2%, with a turnover of 659.85 billion RMB; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 14,350 points, down 24 points or 0.2%, with a turnover of 846.5 billion RMB; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,316 points, down less than 1 point, with a turnover of 363.75 billion RMB.
