# Yonghui publicly calls out Sam's Club: Don't make suppliers "choose one of two"

On March 16th, Yonghui Superstores' own brand Quality Yonghui issued an open letter, directly pointing out that Sam's Club requires suppliers to choose one of two options in the supply chain, limiting supply channels through exclusive cooperation and squeezing the competitive space for peers.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time Sam's Club has been embroiled in an exclusivity controversy in the supply chain. As early as 2021, Hema X Membership Store and Carrefour Membership Store publicly accused of facing similar pressures, and the "upstream competition battle" in offline retail continues to escalate
