This system aims to simplify the integration of MCS-based charging technology for manufacturers. Weighing 45 kg and measuring 585 x 356 x 210 mm, it operates at 1,000 volts (DC) and 1,500 amperes. The interface includes essential components for high-power charging and is designed for demanding conditions. Suncar's solution supports MCS communication and is suitable for various vehicle concepts, facilitating the adoption of ultra-fast charging technology in the commercial vehicle sector." datetime: "2026-03-19T10:47:09.000Z" locales: - [zh-CN](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/279770700.md) - [en](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279770700.md) - [zh-HK](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279770700.md) --- > 支持的语言: [English](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279770700.md) | [繁體中文](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279770700.md) # Suncar presents MCS charging interface for vehicles The Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is being developed as a global standard for ultra-fast charging of heavy-duty commercial vehicles, construction machinery and other high-performance equipment. While parts of the standard have already been finalised, the overall specification is still under development. “So far, discussions often focus on charging infrastructure outside the vehicle. In this area, the market already offers various solutions,” Suncar states. By contrast, the implementation on the vehicle side often remains in the background, which the company aims to change by offering vehicle manufacturers a ready-made DC fast-charging interface called Megaflow1500. Suncar states that it builds on its experience with CCS charging interfaces. The MCS solution weighs 45 kg and measures 585 x 356 x 210 mm. Suncar specifies the system voltage at 1,000 volts (DC) and the current at 1,500 amperes. The Swiss company has designed the new product specifically for use in electric vehicles and machines, combining ‘key functions for high-power charging according to the MCS approach in a modular system.’ Specifically, the DC interface includes, among other things, the charging inlet, high-voltage switching and safety components, measurement and monitoring functions, as well as functions for internal communication with the vehicle control unit. In addition, ‘depending on the configuration, it supports passive or active cooling and is designed for demanding environmental conditions in off-highway and commercial vehicle applications,’ Suncar states. Optionally, the interface can also be equipped with a charging controller that supports MCS communication in line with relevant standards and manages coordination between the vehicle and the charging infrastructure. According to Suncar, the Megaflow1500 is suitable for integrating MCS charging technology into development, pilot or series-production vehicles. “Megawatt charging discussions often focus on charging parks and infrastructure. In practice, however, the vehicle side determines whether the technology can actually be used,” said Stefan Schneider, Managing Director of Suncar AG. With the new solution, the company is providing vehicle manufacturers with a product ‘that significantly simplifies the entry into MCS charging technology and supports different vehicle concepts.’ suncar-ag.com ## 相关资讯与研究 - [Rusoro Mining (CVE:RML) Director Sells 60,000 Shares](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281694931.md) - [Should Record 2025 Output and 100% U.S. Reserve Replacement Require Action From Freehold (TSX:FRU) Investors?](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281696598.md) - [Wasion Holdings Limited (3393) Gets a Buy from China Renaissance](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281702521.md) - [Global Prosperity Sticks to Their Buy Rating for Fufeng Group Limited (FFO1)](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281702206.md) - [Assessing AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) Valuation As BlueBird 7 Nears Launch And Growth Expectations Build](https://longbridge.com/zh-CN/news/281702042.md)
