The two-year U.S. Treasury yield rose by 4 basis points to 3.83%, while the five-year yield increased by 3 basis points to 3.91%. Due to the surge in oil prices, market participants have lowered their expectations for a rate cut by the Federal Reserve this year. Before the outbreak of the Iran war, swap traders priced in expectations that the Fed would cut rates by 61 basis points; however, this expectation has now dropped to just 3 basis points.
