# Apple will hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June, expected to announce a series of AI features

Apple Inc. announced plans to hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference from June 8 to 12, during which the company will showcase a range of critical artificial intelligence (AI) features.

In a statement on Monday, Apple indicated that this year's conference will focus on significant updates to Apple platforms, including advancements in AI and exciting new software and developer tools. A live keynote event will take place at Apple's headquarters on June 8 to kick off the conference.

This year's developers conference is particularly crucial, as the iPhone manufacturer needs to launch a counterattack in the field of artificial intelligence, starting with the release of the iOS 27 operating system that week.

Reports suggest that Apple is working on upgrading the Siri voice assistant to provide a more chatbot-like interface. The company is also preparing to clean up the underlying systems of the operating system, as in some cases, these systems have become bloated and riddled with vulnerabilities.

The Worldwide Developers Conference is typically a software-centric showcase, but in the past, Apple has also used the event to launch new hardware. For example, in 2023, Apple released the Vision Pro headset. However, this year's event is not expected to unveil any heavyweight new devices
