# Apple Plans AI Strategy Reboot with Standalone Siri App, New "Ask Siri" Button, and Redesigned Interface

As part of a comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, Apple is testing a standalone application for its Siri voice assistant and a new "Ask Siri" feature that will permeate all its software systems, according to people familiar with the matter.

The upgraded Siri aims to provide more precise control over internal iPhone and Mac functions, access personal data, and engage in conversational interaction with users via text and voice.

The new Siri is set to debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) as part of iOS 27 and macOS 27. Its features will include a redesigned interface, the capability to perform tasks across different applications, and access to news content and the open web. (Bloomberg)
