# Haier Smart Home's net profit increased by 4.4% last year and announced a buyback, but it fell over 6% in early trading

Haier Smart Home (06690.HK) opened down 3.51% today and is currently down 6.13% to a low of HKD 21.42, with a trading volume of 1.9376 million shares, involving HKD 42.2845 million.

Haier Smart Home announced an operating revenue of RMB 302.329 billion, surpassing RMB 300 billion for the first time, an annual increase of 5.7%; gross profit of RMB 78.955 billion, up 1.3%. It recorded a net profit of RMB 19.553 billion, an increase of 4.4%, with earnings per share of RMB 2.12. The final dividend is HKD 8.867 per 10 shares. The annual cash dividend payout ratio is 55%, an increase of 7 percentage points.

The company announced plans to repurchase 85.71 million to 171.43 million ordinary A shares, with an estimated investment of RMB 3 billion to RMB 6 billion
