# Fitch assigns CHALCO Hong Kong a long-term issuer default rating of "BBB+" with a stable outlook

Fitch Ratings has assigned a long-term issuer default rating of "BBB+" to Chalco Hong Kong, with a stable outlook. Fitch also assigned a long-term senior unsecured rating of "BBB+".

Fitch adopted a "parent strong, subsidiary weak" rating approach for Chalco Hong Kong based on the "Parent-Subsidiary Linkage Rating Criteria." The rating of Chalco Hong Kong is equivalent to that of its parent company, CHALCO (02600.HK), reflecting Fitch's view that CHALCO has a "moderate" willingness to provide legal support, a "high" willingness to provide strategic support, and a "high" willingness to provide operational support
