# Southbound Capital Net Buys Over HK$220 Billion in Q1

Wind data shows that as of March 31, Southbound capital had a net inflow of HK$220.947 billion in the first quarter. Among these, the single-day net inflow on March 9 reached HK$37.213 billion, setting a new record for daily net inflow. Out of the 56 trading days in the first quarter for Southbound capital, 37 trading days experienced net inflows, accounting for over 60%. Looking at monthly inflow amounts, Southbound capital maintained monthly net inflows in the first three months of the year, with February's net inflow exceeding HK$90 billion and January's and March's net inflows both surpassing HK$60 billion.
