Notably, TESLA surged to become the second-best seller, only behind Yulon Motor ( 2207-TW) TOYOTA; the total car market registered 96,434 units in the first quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 3.4%. Looking at the sales data of the top 10 car manufacturers in March, TOYOTA maintained its lead with 10,590 units, a month-on-month increase of 45.5% and a year-on-year decrease of 10%, accumulating a first-quarter sales volume of 29,483 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%.
