# The Half-Day Report: The Hang Seng Index fell by 276 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index dropped by 104 points. Xiaomi Group fell over 4%, Alibaba fell over 3%, and MEITUAN fell over 3%. Geely, Bank of China, Guofu Quantum, Weili Zhibo-B, and Huishang Bank reached new highs

The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,017 points, down 276 points or 1.1%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 4,651 points, down 104 points or 2.2%. The National Index fell 83 points or 1.0%, closing at 8,421 points.

Performance of active heavyweight stocks:

Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) closed at HKD 30.7, down 4.1%;

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 118.4, down 3.5%;

MEITUAN (03690.HK) closed at HKD 79.4, down 3.1%;

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 488.4, down 1.7%;

Movements in the Hang Seng Index and National Index constituent stocks:

Geely (00175.HK) closed at HKD 23.4, up 6.5%, hitting a new high;

Sunny Optical (02382.HK) closed at HKD 60.15, up 5.6%;

SMIC (00981.HK) closed at HKD 50.35, down 4.7%;

Hansoh Pharmaceutical (03692.HK) closed at HKD 38.94, up 4.1%;

Horizon Robotics-W (09660.HK) closed at HKD 6.65, down 3.8%;

Longfor (00960.HK) closed at HKD 7.62, down 3.7%;

Bank of China (03988.HK) closed at HKD 5.03, up 0.4%, hitting a new high;
