# Duan Yongping stated that POP MART is a pioneer in the internationalization of Chinese products

IT Home reported on April 5th that investor Duan Yongping discussed POP MART on Xueqiu yesterday, stating that POP MART is the pioneer of product internationalization in China.

He mentioned, "Today I roughly finished reading 'Because Unique', and in the morning and afternoon, I went to see the POP MART store at Westfield. The store is only about 60 square meters, and the business is indeed very good, with the majority being adults, and the proportion of older Chinese is quite small, about 10%. **Why do I feel that POP MART is the pioneer of product internationalization in China?** Other companies seem to have not reached this level yet. Right business, right people! Right price is important and not common, but it seems to have been seen."

IT Home noted that as early as last December, Duan Yongping mentioned in an interview with Wang Shi that although he does not understand POP MART, **he would not invest in or purchase its stocks**, he really feels that it has turned emotional value products into this, which is not a casual success; it truly took effort.

In March of this year, he posted on social media: "I spent some time looking at POP MART again these past two days, **and I have decided to retract my statement about not investing in POP MART.**"
