# 道琼斯工业平均指数反弹，因为科技股的疲软抵消了债券收益率的下降

Stocks are lower at midday as a drop in key tech names offset **falling bond yields**. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) is reversing earlier losses, now trading up 135 points, while the Nasdaq Composite Index (IXIC) is trading on the opposite end of the aisle, down 185 points. The S&P 500 Index (SPX) sits modestly lower as chip stocks and President Donald Trump's tariff hike announcement weigh on the broader market. Trump said the U.S. will implement levies on Canada of 50%, mostly impacting auto imports, slated to begin on Jan. 1, 2027.

**Samsara (NYSE:IOT)** shares are up 1.4% at $40.48, after KeyBanc raised its price target on Samsara to $46 from $41, while maintaining an "overweight" rating. More than 5,300 puts have changed hands in response, which is six times the amount typically seen at this point. The October 29 and 27 puts are the top contracts, with opening activity present. IOT is up 13.8% in 2026.

**Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR)** is trading at $121.40, up 7.9%, one of the best performers on the Nasdaq after the company announced it had built a new $1.59 billion USD cash pool separate from its existing reserve, without buying or selling any Bitcoin (BTC)**.** The shares have gained 33% since the start of August.

**Applied Optoelectronics (NASDAQ:AAOI)** is trading sharply lower, down over 10%, after the company announced a $600 million at-the-market equity offering, spooking investors over potential share dilution. The shares have pulled back to the 200-day moving average. Year to-date, AAOI is up 216.8%.
