# Epic Games 宣布裁员 830 人，占比 16%

DoNews9 月 29 日消息，Epic Games 近日发布公告，宣布裁员 830 人，在其员工中的占比为 16%。

公司 CEO 蒂姆・斯威尼（Tim Sweeney）在发给员工的一份备忘录中表示，公司的各项支出已超出《堡垒之夜》游戏带来的收入，在作出裁员决定之前，公司尝试了各种削减成本的努力，但最终 “无法达到财务可持续性”，因此无奈选择裁员。

斯威尼说，裁员是稳定公司财务状况的唯一途径。员工会得到一笔遣散费补偿，其中包括六个月的基本工资和六个月的带薪医疗保健。

至于与苹果的官司，斯威尼声称 Epic Games 正在采取措施减少法律费用，但会继续法律斗争，从而推动元宇宙的蓬勃发展，并为 Epic 和所有其他开发者带来机会。
