# In a continuous state of volatility

In the past few days, the US stock market has fallen to a certain level, with recent volatility. Amazon is at 198, Microsoft at 400, and Meta at 635. It would have been great if I had reduced my position in Meta around 730; then I would have had funds to add on dips later. Regretting it now, I need to learn the lessons of retail investors: free up some funds as reserves when the market rises. Now I'm almost fully invested.

I don't know how much this wave will correct. If it falls, I can only tough it out, and my gains have retreated again. Peter Lynch said that trying to avoid every correction by staying in cash often results in missing out on more gains than the losses from the correction itself. That's it for today.
